1. Simplex Holdings, Inc.
DX certification from the METI
Simplex Holdings, Inc. has obtained DX certification from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) as a “DX-Ready” company, based on the Act on Facilitation of Information Processing. This certification signifies that the company is ready to transform its business through digital technology by complying with the basic requirements of the “Digital Governance Code,” which outlines the necessary responses expected of management in light of the social transformation brought about by digital technology.
CDP
CDP is a non-governmental organization (NGO) managed by a UK charity, that operates a global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, nations, states and regions to manage their environmental impacts. Simplex Holdings, Inc. responded to the Climate Change questionnaire requested by CDP in 2023 and received a management level rating of B- as of March 2024. This indicates that the company has taken actions to reduce negative impacts after assessing its environmental risks and impacts, following a previous F rating in 2023.
TCFD Consortium
In June 2023, Simplex Holdings, Inc. declared its support for the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and disclosed information based on the TCFD recommendations on its corporate website. Simplex also joined the TCFD Consortium, which was established as a forum for discussing effective corporate disclosure of climate-related financial information and initiatives linking disclosed information to appropriate investment decisions by financial institutions and other organizations.
2. Simplex Inc.
Kurumin Certification
Our group’s main business subsidiary, Simplex Inc., obtained “Kurumin Certification” from the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare as a company supporting childcare in September 2023. The Kurumin Certification is awarded to companies that, in accordance with the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children, have not only formulated general employer action plans have but also achieved the goals set forth in the plan, and met certain criteria.
Information Security Management System (ISMS)
Simplex Inc. has obtained certification for the Information Security Management System (ISMS) for the following solutions. ISMS (ISO 27001) is a system that involves third-party audits to certify that the organization maintains a management system ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of its information security. Additionally, it demonstrates the organization’s commitment to continually applying the PDCA cycle (Plan-Do-Check-Act) for effective implementation.
Scope of Certification
1. The provision of system development, maintenance, operation and service infrastructure in FX (Foreign Exchange Margin Trade) System.
2. The provision of system development, maintenance, operation and service infrastructure in Crypto Currency System.
3. The provision of development, maintenance, operation services and the service infrastructure of cloud system to financial institutions.

SOC1 and 2
Simplex Inc. has obtained “SOC1 Type 2 report” and “SOC2 (Security) Type 2 report” regarding internal controls, and has received assurance opinions about the integrity of our system through objectively evaluating third-party experts. SOC (System and Organization Controls) is a framework defined by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) for evaluating and reporting on a service organization’s internal control over engaged activities (services provided to customers, etc.). These reports provide a statement of assurance based on an objective third-party assessment.
