Simplex Holdings, Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Hideki Kaneko; hereinafter “Simplex Holdings”) hereby announces that Tatsuya Nakayabu, a former Senior Executive Officer of Accenture Japan Ltd., has been appointed Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), effective October 1, 2026.
For more than 30 years, Nakayabu has been involved in management strategy, business development, business process reform, and IT reform at Accenture Japan Ltd., supporting corporate growth and transformation across a wide range of industries, including telecommunications, media, and manufacturing. After holding a number of key positions, including Senior Executive Officer, he joined the Simplex Group in April 2026 and was appointed Director, Vice President and Co-COO of Simplex Holdings in June of the same year.
The Simplex Group has established “MTBP 2030 – Vision1000”, which targets revenue of ¥100 billion for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2030. Under this vision, the Group is further strengthening the solid business foundation it has built in the financial domain, while expanding into the non-financial domain, enhancing the value it provides through the utilization of AI, and establishing new business models.
To further strengthen its management strategy capabilities toward realizing Vision1000, Nakayabu, as CSO, will be responsible for formulating and executing management and growth strategies across the Group. Under his leadership, and based on its solid growth strategy, the Group will further strengthen its competitiveness in the financial domain, expand into the non-financial domain, promote company-wide AI-Native Delivery, establish non-labor-intensive business models, and enhance its client account and human resource strategies, with the aim of achieving sustainable growth and enhancing corporate value.
Comment from Tatsuya Nakayabu
For more than 30 years, I have been involved in management strategy, business development, business process reform, and IT reform for a wide range of companies, supporting their growth and transformation.
Through this experience, I have come to strongly believe that strategy without execution capability cannot transform a company. I believe that the ability to integrate strategy, technology, and execution, and to see initiatives through to results, will be essential for driving corporate transformation going forward.
The Simplex Group has advanced technology and a deep understanding of business cultivated over many years in the financial domain, particularly in areas that are core to its clients, and, above all, a culture of strong execution capability characterized by taking a hands-on approach and seeing things through to the end. I firmly believe that these strengths will enable the Group to provide significant value not only in the financial domain but also across a broader range of industries.
Vision1000 is not simply a target for expanding the scale of the Group’s business. I see it as an initiative to take the Group itself to the next stage by further enhancing its strengths, expanding into the non-financial domain, providing new value based on AI, and taking on the challenge of creating unprecedented business models.
As CSO, I will apply the experience I have gained over the years to formulate strategies that connect the Simplex Group’s strengths to its next stage of growth, and take responsibility for seeing those strategies through to execution. Together with the management team and employees, I hope to realize Vision1000 and shape what the Simplex Group will become beyond it.
