Simplex Holdings, Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Ryu Saito; hereinafter “Simplex Quantum”).
Outline of Simplex Quantum
Simplex Quantum is engaged in the development of artificial intelligence (AI) using biological information in the medical and healthcare fields. The company developed the Japan’s first early heart failure detection system for telemedicine application based on a proprietary AI analysis algorithm (Patent registration number: Patent No. 6893002; jointly applied with the University of Tokyo). Also, Shinden-kun, an atrial fibrillation detection device that Simplex Quantum develops, manufactures, and markets was approved as a medical device by Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA) of Japan in April 2020. Furthermore, Simplex Quantum has been engaged in many public-private and academic-industry joint projects, including developments related to the above-mentioned heart-failure AI which have been adopted as an “Advanced Research and Development Programs for Medical Innovation: Strengthening Advanced R&D” by Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED).

Simplex Group (Simplex Holdings and its subsidiaries) has a number of proven track records in building robust cloud-based infrastructure and developing secure and high-performance software for the financial industry.
